I'm glad that the anti-Flock camera movement is gaining steam. But I'm tell you that nobody has any idea that Axon police dash cams track every license plate the cop drives his squad car by, and even if you get rid of the Flock camaras mounted on poles, they will still track you with the dashcams.
Dashcams are NEVER going away unless there is some sort of civilizational reset.
It felt less egregious at the time because the camera was associated with a person, in their vehicle, and the "we're uploading everything to a hackable third party for processing" wasn't so publicly known.
Slightly less egregious. Like a broken finger instead of a broken leg. But to be fair, the dash cams and body cams have really put the lie to the basketball Americans complaints that every cop was racist and they didn't do nuthin'
