Seven Deadly Sins have been sold to Christianity as "7 Core Immoral Traits to Avoid" But I feel this is Jewish trap. Pride and Lust and even Wrath are sometimes healthy or essential in right context, they are not instrinsically immoral. To think so in all context is overly self-inhibiting and unhealthy.
Rather, clear to me, if one consider Hebrew word for "sin" = chata חָטָא = "miss the mark" (they have no moral connotation for chata), makes much more sense, 7 Deadly sins pride, wrath, lust etc are indeed 7 traits that can often lead to a person "missing the mark" i.e. erring in judgment and action. Thus, for Js, they would naturally be 7 key character traits to exploit and also to foster in they targets to the maximum. I think of them as 7 character vital points Js strike at (and foster) in they societal warfare. to increase the odds of they trickery, poisons, scams, and above all cults working better.
Once more, doesn't mean the traits bad in all context, having "wrath" at injustice is completely healthy and moral, you should be angry at injustice, that is not immoral at all. But wrath is always a key trait that can also lead to errors in judgment and action (chata חָטָא), makes one reactive, it is a fundamental exploitable character trait in a target (trolling, prodding, etc.)

Think the "these 7 sins are always immoral character traits" is a J scam sold to and layered on top of proper Christianity.
