AFAIK, Russian heavy loaded military cargo planes and ships routinely deliver something to Iran, not Israel. Russian bank system have direct connection with Iran's one, not Israel's. Ayatolla and Russian Orthodox Church Patriarch have contacts. Also, Israel raddish disappeared from Russian groceries long ago, instead we have Iranian fruits and nuts in groceries now.
So, all this Russia-Iran treaties is not just empty political circus, but something really working.
Israel designated as "non-friendly" state in Russian bureaucracy.
PS: Also important: A lot of disgusting shit from "culture" sphere flee Russia to Israel, not to Iran
I don't care what politicians tell. I only care about what is really happening. If real Russian actions and support eventually ends up with Iranian missiles devastating fucking Tel-Aviv and other illegal stinking jewish settlements on the occupied territory of Palestine, if Russian tech and money help ME resistance to kill IOF bastards in thousands, then it is a very good news and tells more than any words.
If jewish filth is pushed out of country, then it is also a good and telling news.
Meanwhile, what any citizen of any Western country ever did to inflict any real damage on the so called Israel?
Interesting, you very good on-ground knowledge of Russia-Iran relations, I agree with you assessment, good points, think it's a real alliance.
Don't think Russian church nearly as strong a century ago as is today, internet is swaying public opinion against Israhell from Gaza, perhaps they are finally waking up and distancing from deceivers.
your very good on-ground knowledge of Russia-Iran relations,
Are based only on personal and visible observations, Perhaps, there is much more could happen behind the scenes, but I have no any idea about it. However, such simple things like steady presence of Iranian food in groceries, could say a lot, if you think a little how exactly this Iranian delights and fruits reach local grocery shelves. Flights and shipping growth is also in open. Groups of Iranian tourists, students and scientists/engineers on the streets are also on the surface.
Seems Russia church is much stronger today than century ago with Russian Revolution
Not really, if you look at a number of really devoted parisioners or by property owned by Church. However, this Orthodox spirit is more than alive and become stronger with the development of shit in our clown world. Something like "may be those bearded priests in churches are much closer to the truth about our world than anyone else". This, applied to strong Orthodox Christianity foundation of Russian culture give some fruits. Many, even those who are barely religious, will stand for Orthodox Christianity vaules if necessary.

Makes sense

Yes, makes sense, groceries need to be available to eat, can't run out of food.

Interesting, I'm still pondering this point

That's not about "running out of food", there are mostly Iranian delicacies, like confectionery, exotic (for us) fruits and nuts and other similar stuff, not something basic. Russia is fully self-sufficient in food for a long time already. This is about established supply and financial chains that allow constant trade. To deliver, say, mint sauce from Iran to shelves of local groceries over the country, there should be a lot of things established. Ordering and payment system, trade routes, additional space in ports and warehouses on the route and so on. It's not just one truck with a single batch of something occasionally travelled from small farm to some grocery, it is industrial scale.
You have outdated map. :)

These all sound intriguing, like to hear your insight more on these
Take a look at flightradar24 or similar maritime thing.
As for tourism and business/education trips - there is visa-free agreement between Russia and Iran active since 2023.
If you wish to keep discussing this for today
