How a drone moves inside a plane? Its dumb and not relative to anything we were discussing. Does the plane a pretend spin to it? Does it have fake gravity to it?
Everything we've debated about the helicopter has to do with the supposed movement of the planet below which u haven't established any coherent rebuttal.. just a bunch of long winded unsatisfactory explanations that are grounded in programming from childhood.
Try common sense, especially when one of your own calls it a pear...😂🍐
LOL!!! I'm sure you meant relevant but this was the most unintentionally ironic comment I've seen yet!
No matter how much you pretend otherwise, a helicopter can hover over a ~1000 mph earth for the same reason a toy drone can hover over a ~500 mph plane. And a plane's east and west flight times over a ~1000 mph earth are the same for the same reason the flight times are the same for flying an RC aircraft from front to back or back to front over a ~500 mph aircraft.
calls it a pear...
I can't believe this is still happening. Again, NDT is a celebrity who makes pop science content for the average idiot. If you are appealing to stupid shit he says in his interviews, you are literally discrediting yourself. No geodesy book would say "the earth is a pear" because that is retarded.
I disagree with NDT's methods, but he said what he said because the average idiot is too stupid to understand what an octopole is. The "pearness" of the earth is about 7/1000000 the average radius. It isn't a pear.
adjective
Considered in comparison or relation to something else.
"an animal with a large brain relative to body size; the relative quiet of the suburbs."
Having pertinence or relevance; connected or related.
"How are those remarks relative to the discussion?"
Referring to or qualifying an antecedent, as the pronoun who in the man who was on TV or that in the dictionary that I use.
Having the same key signature."
Nope I meant what I said and it looks like you're having another personal gotcha moment...again - 🤣
I can send the definition of "arrogance" to u as well...😂
I guess that's fair. Everything I see says that relevant means having pertinence to the matter at hand while relative refers to something considered in relation to something else. This is consistent with how I have always heard the two terms used. Such as:
In order to resolve the apparent paradoxes of hover and equal flight times, the relevant concept that must be understood is relative velocity.
which is why I said it was so unintentionally ironic (😂🤣). But if you go read a bunch of definitions of relative in the dictionary, it is actually true that yours is a meaning of the word. I personally never hear it used that way to the point that it sounds wrong to me, but the dictionary is what it is. (FYI, this is what it looks like when the facts don't fit what someone says and he just acknowledges it).
I don't think I am being arrogant. I am always pretty nice to you and all FEs. You started this out here with something I would never say:
Instead of looking for someone to convince u have u tried researching? Add in some critical thought and u may get it one day.
This is extraordinary. Not only are you disputing something that has literally 100% support across all of science and engineering (no, climate change does not), but you live in a time where technology is everywhere that depends on the claim being correct. It impacts your life every day. This does not mean you are wrong, but it does mean that your claim is extraordinary.
To make such an extraordinary claim without having anything like a working alternative theory and then tell anyone who does not agree that they lack critical thought is, well, arrogant. If you think I'm arrogant, why don't you go to these guys' next meeting and explain to them your hovering helicopter and equal flight times counterexamples. Let's see what happens 😂🤣.
I see there is still no answer on what is wrong with the claim the north pole is 149 feet further than the south pole from the center. Shocking 😂🤣.
Is this supposed to be a gotcha or something? Lol
