Maybe, maybe not. But, wages have only occasionally been the straw that broke the camel's back. Revolutions tend to come out from more fundamental problems. FI, the American Revolution snowballed after the Boston Tea Party. But, it was really caused by Britain signing into law that most of what in our bill of rights, which were in some way embedded in the culture, where not directly in law, were no longer, the 2nd and 4th especially. We almost back to that, in most of the West, today.
Shitty governments have long survived the common people being placed into abject poverty. That imbalance tends to collapse, eventually, though.
