Eu (good) thanasia (death) implies a measurement taken of a punishment given...a contradiction. The trick is that consenting to suggested euthanasia gives another the legal sanction to mercy-kill one.

Why the legal sanction? To shape mercy (reward) into market (trade; deal) aka tricking the natural reward (ones free will of choice) to sell itself out to another while becoming a trader/traitor to oneself.
