How dumb must ditching something smart feel to the many who willingly consented to the suggestion "put a mask over your mouth and nose"?
Con (together) figure (to form) contradicts each beings singular free will of choice given. Any configuration suggested tempts ones free will of choice to artificially take and hold together what nature sets apart from one another.
Nature scatters being...few artificially configure scattered beings into many aka tikkun olam (repairing the world by bringing together). Why? To distract many with the burden of holding together an ever collapsing configuration of artifice (tower of babel allegory) while ignoring natural animation of being.
