People who may have wanted to run for president but also don't want to be assassinated may change their goals if there are repeated attempts at the officeholder.
If its on the news it was planned. A tool, a control tactic, to thin competition.
this is more believable than all the "he hired someone with a live gun so they can push for a new ballroom" nonsense
They care so little about life that they'd 9/11 the twin towers but so much they'd protect a guard... why wouldn't they just find someone willing to play for keeps?
