"Indeed, I will make a way in the wilderness, rivers in the desert." -Isaiah 43:19
Avast! Me hearties! We can be river pirates in the desert! (Pirates for Good, that is)
I've been thinking and it occurs to me we could do with some fren upgrades and I'd like to hear your guyses thoughts.
My ideas are to have a group chat on https://element.io/
and group live at Webex Meetings,
in order to talk about God stuff more and whatever else comes to mind.
Update: Proton now has a video chat option
What say we sets the sails and ship out?

Edit: Everyone is welcome! Being a Christian is not a prerequisite.
I think this is a good idea and would be interested I would suggest you use a free tool for scheduling I would recommend https://whenavailable.com/ no account needed and lots of options… and before the first meeting decide on how long the sessions will be, creating an agenda that will decide the format of the sessions like a set timeline of what activities will be done and for how long, maybe voting or letting people submit topics so each meeting and future meeting has a specific purpose and unique experience/discussion known in advance. Those are just a few things I can think of off the top of my head that make things like this actually be successful and retain people that show up and come back again. Let me know if this project is going to happen and if you want any help.
This is very helpful, thanks dude!
I'm looking into this, it's only scheduling right, not a video chat platform? Webex meetings seems the best option to me right now.
This is definately happening, I'm just having a smidge of trouble with people being available for a scheduled time, at this moment.
Thanks for being willing to join and help, I'll add you on the invite when we schedule. If you wanna join the group chat make an account on Element (there is a link in OP) and let me know your username here or in pm and I'll send an invite, it'll be from Community and my name there is noexit.
