Why not both?
I'm both smarter because I had the providence to be educated and because my genetics engineered me to be smarter.
It's not an offenses to recognise that both nature and nurture are in effect.
But you are kind of an emotional immature retard if you can't accept reality because it hurts your ego.
The providence to get advancements, enables a society to be more educated, which in turn creates smarter people down the line. People become genetically smarter.
I'm just arguing that the genetics of intelligence aren't set and stone and people groups can become smarter.
