Robots are complex things with a lot of points of failure and wearing parts. You still need a lot of people to service robots. And no, they will not work forever flawlessly servicing generations of inbred survived elite. Even car assembly line simple 4DOF robot doing one operation need weekly imaintenace by human and will fail in a month without it.
They will just end with tons of broken robots in a less than a year.
