He's not covering. He's just using the blackmail for his own ends. It's why Europe folded so quickly at the WEF. The blackmail is like the ring from LOTR. It's too powerful to throw away.

A military whistleblower leaked that he’s hiding it because it shows he was Epstein’s manager and has snuff films or torturing little children. If that got released, it would be all over.
