I recommend Moody's Life After Life, which is dated but still accurate in assessing a broad range of NDEs (later books build on this). Funny thing, all NDEs are classified into either an embracing love (the majority) or a suffering experience, regardless of religion. NDEs are not related to what people say when they are conscious but dying, so that's a different data point.
In Youtube seems to push the Christian based NDE. The when people die, God or Jesus embraces you with love as you die.
But from what I have seen from people dying of old age, cancer, gun shot or car accident, everyone cries out to their mom.
Years ago, I did see a video of two cops beating a homeless man to death, that homeless man cried for his father as he died.
