I opposed KOSA and similar lawfare like it for the same reason, because they use child safety as a pretense to further strip what little privacy remains in the virtual realm. If protecting kids from porn and other illicit material was a genuine concern, there are dozens of ways you can do so without having identification mandates; they don't pursue those methods, because it's not about that and never has been.
A lot of society's problems would be solved if it was agreed that children were the burden of those who chose to have them, not the general population.
