Once again, one of the few times I will openly agree with you; stuff like this is always a slippery slope, without exception. I care about privacy just as much (if not more, in some instances) as stamping out degenerate bullshit.

I opposed KOSA and similar lawfare like it for the same reason, because they use child safety as a pretense to further strip what little privacy remains in the virtual realm. If protecting kids from porn and other illicit material was a genuine concern, there are dozens of ways you can do so without having identification mandates; they don't pursue those methods, because it's not about that and never has been.
