Why not? Exposing them is a good thing.
Explain what you mean by draw energy from people.
Being implies as person (singular) within energy (singularity)...people (plural) implies the summoning together of each consenting person (singular) aka drawing from.
Energy both pushes (inception) and draws (death) power (life)...
