Athletics doesn't take intelligence, and the engineering of the Nazi regime was largely built from stolen ideas seized by the regime that were stored in university libraries. The jet engine is an infamous example.
Tell me how many people educated in Nazi Germany went on to be successful. That's a big fat zero.
Then why was Operation Paperclip a thing? The US needed Nazi experts. They did invent the jet engine, afterall 😎

Operation Paperclip was a thing because people educated in the Weimar Republic were actually educated. You actually hit an interesting point, Germany's education was so bad during the occupation that people would rather pardon war criminals than be stuck with them.
No one was clamoring to hire the retards the brownshirts churned out.
