For those uninitiated, Schlep is some dumbass on YouTube who makes "catching predator" videos that are likely staged. He got banned by Roblox for the way his content insinuates the game is unsafe, and he responded by getting a bunch of Republican AGs who get hard for Digital ID to take his case.
He claims a wide conspiracy, with no evidence or valid takes, just lots of vaguely famous Internet people on side, like Law By Mike the TikToker. The support he has seems entirely astroturfed and likely originating from Project 2025 funding.
Anyone who claims someone's coming for your children is usually coming for your basic human rights.

Project 2025 is an openly natalist, openly Christian group led by current Trump OMB leader Russell Vought, who want to reshape the Internet by forcing everyone to link their ID to their words, for the "protection of children". They got a lot of focus for other pants on head retarded policy, and their porn ID push got some attention, but their ultimate goal in terms of the Internet is to erase anonymity online for good.
