Do you want a make a pool? Or vote in some way for the most important news of the week?
Following Axeotl_Peotl's example, we can go for the most upvoted comment in here as the major topic that should be discussed this week. Most upvotes, or longest discussion WINS.
We can do that every week, so we can try to make this into a community. Otherwise, everyone is just sharing their views - old, new, wrong, right, etc... There is no community work being done in reality.
I know we agree on the majority of the conspiracies, but on some we disagree...
If we make a DISCUSSION posts about a certain topic and we actually manage to finalize it, then we can just copy the link to any new user that has any questions about this topic. I see this as a win for everyone of us. Otherwise, we just share known materials to veterans, who can help with a lot of information.
-
How can we activate the veterans in conspiracy research to be more active and share their information with newcomers?
-
How can we have a useful debate that actually reaches a useful and truthful conclusion?
-
How can we make this community more proactive than it already is?
We should unite our efforts to make a difference, otherwise it's every man for himself... And how has that worked in the past?
It's clear that the enemy wants to divide us, so it might be a good idea to unite in the ideas that we agree on. It seems like a good idea to at least try. I can definitely say that it worked when Axeotl_Peotl was making the pools in the past about the most important conspiracy of the week.
Rules:
-
Attack the argument, not the person.
-
Add more information to the topic, if you can.
-
Expose shills, who have no rational reason to go against any topic.
If you see a positive use for this, please share any topics that you think are relevant. A Charlie Kirk discussion, or a united thread would be very useful, but of course any suggestions would be appreciated, just say what comes to your mind as an important conspiracy topic.
We had already great discussions in here on the Lahaina fires and other topics, where users were compiling big posts that clearly showed the conclusion of a combined research (sorry, if I miss your specific example, I just forget things).
That would be an extremely useful database. If we can compile all the information in one post, someone can share it, someone can make a documentary about it, someone can research for more details...
We all have different qualities that can be useful to expose the truth to others. It is better to share them then just use them on our own. What has been achieved so far by a single individual? But if we combine our resources, we might have a real chance to wake a lot of people with extensive research and firm message that would help them conclude that the mass media is lying.
I'm sorry that I have to be the person to restart this topic, but I haven't seen anything similar in some time in here. (I don't review this forum daily, so if you've done that and I've missed it - I'm sorry). But if we decide on a day that is specifically for these discussions, we might have a real breakthrough using the brains of this community.
If you think that's a good idea - comment your best conspiracy topic.
If you think that I shouldn't start this - make a DISCUSSION post about your best conspiracy topic.
Either way, I hope you can share knowledge between yourselves in a united manner. That would certainly show the greatest result, imo.
That's my idea this week. I'll be happy to suggest a topic any week I see a topic request.
Funny, no human moderation here for 8 months, maybe we need a new mod too. I am totally in favor of getting community consensus on important conspiracies, including minority reports as needed; and I'd participate in that too, but high- or low-effort would need to be determined situationally.
You might also want to start by compiling (and possibly annotating) the good past discussions you refer to in a master index that can be kept updated (and stickied when we get a mod).
And what's the conspiratorial value of "black holes"? What is the aim that you want to achieve with that discussion? (Which could be a basic question to anyone raising a topic, and starting a new discussion.)
Do black holes exist? Do we believe NASA lies? Can we actually go through a black hole? What is your actual motive to give this idea about Black holes?
I agree - no moderation in quite some time... Seems like an echo chamber in here... And if we don't fix it, who will?
I am an absolute idiot in moderation and really understanding those terms... Can you explain that to an absolute idiot like me? I know what the words mean, but I have no idea what you meant by them...
I can do the work - no problem for me, actually I like doing a lot of work... But if you can explain your words to a person, who was never a moderator, but can compile a lot of information if needed... I would really appreciate that!
Maybe it's not the best idea, just what was on my mind this week as I'm uncovering new stuff.
I suppose there's a conspiracy hiding how demons use black holes, how deep the black hole goes, how black holes can be used for time travel, how they teach us about the creation of white holes, Star Trek but for real. This week I became a black hole miner.
Anyway, just getting the black hole rolling .... I was also saying the forum needs an active moderator so that important posts can be put in an index that can be accessed from the sidebar or menu and so that the hottest posts can be given a "sticky" code so that they will appear first on the default feed and attract more attention and reflect the forum well.
That part may be stopping you from talking about the real issues. I was thinking that same thing when writing this post, but if we didn't wrote what we did, then how do we expect to receive our answers?
It's great that you're humble, but we need ideas! Honestly! Any idea is good, and don't worry if it's not the best idea... It's the best idea that you could think of in a short timespan, and it's better than nothing! Look around the comments - it's the only idea that is discussed. I appreciate you sharing it!!!
Now, I will share my thoughts on it, but please don't get discouraged because I don't know everything about everything... I just share my 2 cents.
How do I know this? Every major demonic work: Dictionnaire infernal / Book of the law / Necronomic... Shows the demons as etherials, who can transport easily to any destination that has certain conditions, but no black holes.
A black hole is a term used by liars in NASA to explain things that they can't explain. (And keep in mind, I'm only suggesting my point to be refuted by you - if you have a stronger argument - you win!)
Has anyone seen a black hole?
Does anyone know how devastating a black hole is without never seeing one? It could be a fear tactic, so others are afraid to explore it.
Occultism shows that any demon can be summoned in any place and no black hole is necessary. That's one example that can backed up with proofs.
Star Trek is fiction that is used to make us believe in aliens. Any cosmical propaganda there is... Same as the X-files... A tv show is not a way to back up claims, when we know they use actors and lies to make this believable. My point is that a show alone cannot verify anything, but a show and a real situation can.
Sorry if I am too pushy on this topic, but these are counter arguments - these you will see in any debate. How are you replying to them is up to you. What really helps are sources, proofs, and any conspiracy-related topic on the subject.
I would like to hear your views on this!
Indeed. But where is it?
We'd all want someone to take care of our troubles, but it seems like this place has none active moderators... One solutions could be for you to create your own page and moderate it as well as you can, another would be to call for a community that would visit a forum and place certain people, that you trust, as moderators...
If you want to create your own community, I will help with everything that I have. But I suck as a moderator. I can flag things for you, if you want, but I wouldn't want to make the final decisions. If you have an idea for a new commity, you have my full support! Many will benefit from such a place!
Well .... there are many ways to go with this.
I'd love to write a main post on black holes this week but it might be discussion-stifling because I tend to go high-effort. That's different from starting a post on a generic topic because I have a lot of opinions coming to the table by suggesting the topic. Plus I can still get called "christiantard trump troll" regardless of its applicability, and that leads to a need for the sidebar rule "respect other views".
I'd love to suggest conspiracy topics weekly for "round table" but I'd hope that it's because there's critical mass to get an actual forward-moving discussion. Weekly topics of varying quality would lead to risks of monopolization (as above), of general disinterest leading to attrition, and of dilution (sliding and echo chamber).
This is also a situation where I'd consider moderating if the community would have me, because there isn't much burden there and I wouldn't promise anything other than objectivity.
I have a few communities, but didn't create one for conspiracies specifically because of this one. My taking the names c/FlatEarth, c/Nazi, and c/Holocaust has not resulted in much. Right now the new c/4thHorsemanNews by u/Tetartos_Ippeas is having a great debut for conspiracies and we could cross-pollinate in either direction.
Looking at it in general, it seems that a combination of renewal of c/Conspiracies along with a continuing boost to c/4thHorsemanNews would be useful if there are enough people and if they don't have axes to grind. Conspiracy theorists recognize that any group of ten or more is always infiltrated by the cabal anyway, so we must work around that. Collaboration is good but I would have no expectation that we would necessarily have instant teaching-learning sessions because there are so many other ways people interact. That's why I limit myself to certain paths, (1) flip answers that I don't have to defend, (2) detailed answers for my own and the lurkers' sakes without any requirement that anyone listen, and (3) requests for commitment to a shared goal (such as "God") so that the goal itself can be held up later as a witness if the discussion goes awry. If someone wants to be argumentative it's not my job or interest to join debate, but I do when I can use a path like one of those. If there are enough people who work like that then maybe "collaboration" becomes community.
I'll write something brief at Meta to see where it goes.
Here’s a set of links to the ones from the old forum:

I think only a few were done here - one of which was on Human Potential ( c/HumanPotential ):

Maybe a couple more in Clem or axo’s profile
Amazing effort!
Thank you for doing that!
Can you think of a way that this would be a community effort and not just your hard work?
Hey, cheers, thanks man - but really all I did was a quick search for the old forum’s posts (which axo actually collated, which you can see at the bottom of that reddit page) and a quick scroll through Clem’s old posts
I agree with many of the issues you’ve listed - the people still posting here often seem to live in their own worlds and make very little effort to connect their posts to the “interests of the community” so-to-speak…
If I could only make one suggestion, it might be to try and reinvigorate this place (in terms of members/contributors) would be to “advertise” well made posts in the other, few forums left on this site (namely the donald, kotaku in action, and the qtard board).
Also, tangentially, I’ve noticed that this place has far more posters than commenters. A few guys here just kinda spew the same shit over and over and over while no one bothers to engage with it (because why would you?) - like that guy who just posts screenshots and copy/pasted text from his retarded “conversations” with ai, seem to make up a quarter of the forum at any given time - which is to say, some new blood could probably help the place
That's more than most people. And literally everyone, who answered the post, so what you did is huge! If someone does something little, but it's the best thing that you can do at the time - then you've done a great service!
If you need help with this, then I offer mine. I don't think I've joined those, but if there's anything you need there, I can offer my limited skills.
True.
I got the reply from some user that never replied to his posts that he never checks the comments... That's literally reducing to 0 the chance to interract with the community, but somehow he read my comment, so there is still hope for people in here. Probably they got discouraged from the many shills that comment and never post in here...
If you have something in mind, I have free time, I'm able to edit videos to make compilations on many topics, I have a big database on many topics also... I can try to help you, if you have any idea how to reinvigorate this place, or any other. I ask nothing in return.
Please help me, and help the people in conspiracy forums to have a direction! Even if we can't do this, we would've at least tried...
Just please don't leave this just as a comment... Let's do something... Whatever it is. Let's make an effort and see how it pays out.
