Considering it was my parent helping me pronounce the word stein on those very books as a kid goes back to memory.
So, it couldn't be a double print of the book?

All the books now says berenstain. All of them. Yet we have millions of people who swear it was berenstein including myself. No one thinks it could've been berenstan or berensteer but specifically BERENSTEIN.
If it was due to misremembering than there would be several examples of them. It's always the new version and the old one that all remember. That goes for all Mandela effects.

If you can't prove it, then leave it in the theory section... Some people swear that they saw Santa Claus... Should we immediately believe them as well?

Of course it can't be proven just like almost everything in the conspiracy THEORY world...
I tried to explain to u it's much more than it being this particular example of Just a 'children's book" but I guess u missed the Bible part.
Don't care if others missed the change but some people have noticed and would love to understand how and why.
Also there's many different Mandela effects from pop culture to changes in the Bible...In fact the Bible has seen more Mandela effects than any other subject which is telling.
