Why the leaked letter didn't paint Kirk in a good light: He was sycophantic to Netanyahu. He wrote how much he loved Israel and how sad he was to see anti-Semitism on the rise. He also advised Netanyahu to assemble a team of pro-Israel persons to portray Israel positively in the media. In other words, he advised Netanyahu to engage in media manipulation. How shameful.

Why the leaked WhatsApp messages didn't paint Kirk in a good light: He complained that a Jewish donor was cutting ties with him because he invited Tucker Carlson. Kirk wrote that he was considering abandoning his pro-Israel stance. In other words, Kirk wanted to cut ties with Israel because a Jew would no longer give him money. Apparently, money was his highest priority. How shameful.

In summary: Kirk advised Netanyahu to engage in media manipulation and was considering cutting ties with Israel because the money was no longer flowing in. Kirk was literally a Zionist.
