wtf is this retarded post? Is it saying Sid’s is caused by the mother sneaking into the baby’s room and killing them?

I dont quite get it either. My first thought was the same, you think moms are killing their babies out of post partum depression?

Then I thought maybe you mean the medications they put someone on for post partum depression.

Postpartum depression (PPD) treatment often combines psychotherapy (talk therapy), medication like antidepressants, and lifestyle changes such as exercise, nutrition, and sleep. For moderate to severe cases, a combination of medication and counseling is recommended. Support from family and friends, and connecting with other new mothers in support groups, also provides significant benefit. If you're breastfeeding, discuss treatment options with your healthcare provider, as many antidepressants can be safely used during this time.

But that dont really make sense to me.

But I just had to point out, we all have prolly known someone who has lost a kid this way, more than likely. I have known a few.

It's no ones fault bro, shit just happens sometimes.

They have been saying for a few years it has something to do with the part of the brain responsible for making you breath.

For years, medical experts have suspected that SIDS is caused by a defect in the part of the brain that controls arousal from sleeping and breathing, according to the Mayo Clinic. They theorized that if an infant stopped breathing while asleep, the defect would keep the child from waking up.

The Sydney researchers confirmed the theory by analyzing dried blood samples of 722 babies that were taken during the newborn heel prick test – 655 of the tests were from healthy babies, 26 were from babies who died of SIDS and 41 from babies who died from other causes in infancy.

They found that SIDS babies had lower levels of BChE, an enzyme that’s known for its abilities in the brain’s arousal system.

Whether its true or not? :shrugs

The top political issue women care about is being able to kill their kids before birth. Considering that, is it really that unbelievable that sometimes they might change their mind after birth and grab a pillow when nobody's looking?
