The top political issue women care about is being able to kill their kids before birth. Considering that, is it really that unbelievable that sometimes they might change their mind after birth and grab a pillow when nobody's looking?
Yes! It's such a common and well known phenomenon that in many countries a mother killing her baby is not considered a murder. It's considered infanticide, which is a lesser crime:
In New Zealand [...] Where a woman causes the death of any child of hers under the age of 10 years in a manner that amounts to culpable homicide [...] she is guilty of infanticide, and not of murder or manslaughter, and is liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 years
