Why on earth does the government have classified records of this? Why keep them secret for this long? Did they shoot her down?
Those Questions are exactly why I thought people here would take interest in this story. As of this time, we do not know.
A popular theory at the time of her death was that she was shot down by Japanese a couple years before Pearl Harbor. If true, It is possible there would be things involved that the US would want kept secret.
