One of the top elite goals is to make coke and diet coke to taste the same.

Diet coke has its place.

Its amazing how many people think that the fake sugar is good for you. My partner rarely drinks pop, but when they did it was usually a diet something.

How many articles ive sent them, or how many times ive told them before they quit drinking it.

A growing body of evidence has increasingly linked diet sodas and other no- or low-calorie foods with weight gain — so much so that the World Health Organization issued an advisory in May 2023 saying not to use sugar substitutes for weight loss.

“Replacing free sugars with non-sugar sweeteners does not help people control their weight long-term,” Dr. Francesco Branca, director of WHO’s department of nutrition and food safety, said at the time.

Now, a new study may shed light on why consuming too much of the artificial sweetener sucralose could be counterproductive. Instead of the brain sending a signal to eat less, sucralose triggers an increase in appetite when consumed in a drink.

“Sucralose activates the area in the brain that regulates hunger, and that activation, in turn, is linked to greater ratings of hunger,” said lead study author Dr. Katie Page, an associate professor of medicine and pediatrics and director of the Diabetes and Obesity Research Institute at the University of Southern California’s Keck School of Medicine in Los Angeles.

In fact, people who drank water with sucralose said their appetite increased by nearly 20% compared with drinking water with table sugar, Page said.

You know were only animals, pretty basic ones at that. The elite and the rich know this, and they use that to their advantage. Most of this food is engineered to keep us hungry and craving more junk in a endless cycle.

Let alone the health risks associated with it, even though current guidelines claim that its fine to consume and there is zero chance of risk of cancer.

https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/a-chemical-found-in-common-artificial-sweetener-may-cause-dna-damage-cancer

“The most compelling finding was that a contaminant and metabolite of sucralose could damage DNA in human blood cells and express genes in human gut epithelium that can induce inflammation and even cancer.”

I worry about the fructose corn syrup, but I worry less about that than I do something like sucralose or aspartame. Been trying to drink more milk lately and had a glass the other morning. For some reason I was really feeling the need to vomit, my body really doesnt like milk.

Lmao I burned my arm a few weeks back, about the size of a quarter. The skin doesnt want to grow back, my phosphorous levels are fucked I guess. Id worry its the diabbetus, but I can still fast for 24 hours which is something I dont think I could do if I was even borderline and normal cuts heal fine. More likely to be the chronically low phosphate.
