Not a great synopsis. What I read was first detail on how he was being targeted by TPTB as an enemy in the information war, and secondly he mentioned what sounded almost like a falling away from God after losing his source of income.

That's a fatal mistake. When things get rough, you need to rely on God more, not become angsty like a rebellious teenager. Perhaps easier said than done, but it's a lesson to be learned.
