Celebs and political folk showing up with black eyes? Big deal.

I’m concerned with the WHAT, not the WHO. Of the “black eye club,” who did a 180 or dipped out of the spotlight? Who started talking something different or shut up or shut down after the subocular slap?

Bernie stepped out of the primaries.

Musk broke with Trump.

Any other of these have erratic changes?

Harry Reid. Former Senate leader lost an eye in an "exercise accident" and then we never really heard from him again.

EDIT: Mitt Romney also had a black eye. I don't remember the exact circumstances, but I don't remember him having much of a career after that, either.
