Vlad stay exposing himself. AOL's involvement did nothing to ICQ. It literally just meant you could add ICQ numbers to an AOL friends list. IRC bots did whatever they were programmed to do such as file sharing or moderating channels and whatever clever/funny/useful shit a scripter could come up with. They did nothing to detract from the user experience. Vlad desperately wants you to believe he's not a millenial/zoomer.

Check this out. I tried to fact check myself and i found out ICQ was jewish

ICQ was a cross-platform instant messaging (IM) and VoIP client founded in June 1996 by Yair Goldfinger, Sefi Vigiser, Amnon Amir, Arik Vardi, and Arik's father, Yossi Vardi. The name ICQ derives from the English phrase "I Seek You". Originally developed by the Israeli company Mirabilis in 1996, the client was bought by AOL in 1998

Now i am ashamed i ever used or liked the program.
