I think sometimes, people see what they want to see. Ever since I lived through that traumatic blood pressure, I see the faces of people I used to know in crowds for a split second anyway. Still weird.
I cant help but think of this topic and think of that show "clone high" that used to play on mtv. Its certainly possible, even plausible if the technology exists.

There easily could be "more probable faces" due to encoding nuances in DNA.
Or may be humans see less difference in some face configurations and more in other, like they do with colors, odors and taste.
You are not the only one who meet with such phenomena. :)
Technically cloning is not very complex, so it is possible it could be done in the past, So you can't ignore that possibility too.
