Matrix/materia/mater/mother isn't the issue...neo/new was. Casting broad a new(s) message tempts one to ignore the original matrix aka mother nature.
Nature bends choice from one another; artifice binds choice to one another...N(orth) E(ast) W(est) S(outh) implies a separation from one another.
Bending implies a curve; binding implies a circle...hence binding beginning and end of a curve together to establish the ouroboros aka circular logic.
