What? How is hate and jealousy godly? No Christian is ever called to hate even his enemies, even if hatred is justified by pure evil. Christ is the way and the life - we gain eternal life in Him.
For you shall worship no other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God (Exodus 34:14)
What do you think this means?
He protects and guards what is His, will effect justice for the sake of His own. Jealous, not envious. It is in His nature
