Unfortunately, mostly in Russian.
Soviet textbooks - https://sovetskie-uchebniki.ru IDK, if you will have enough patience to translate some. Mostly in DJVU format, so probably it is possible to OCR them and then translate with your favorite translator.
For simplicity you could start with 1958 JFK speech on Russian education - https://www.jfklibrary.org/archives/other-resources/john-f-kennedy-speeches/baltimore-md-19580218 JFK touches some differences and compares Soviet edication with US one.
