A few months ago I predicted the second dip coming of a double dip crash. https://communities.win/c/Conspiracies/p/19A1CCAm14/double-dip-recession--crash-inco/c
The past week or so has seen a major drop in the stock market and a major rise in risk off assets. We've seen gold for the first time in history top $3,000 nominally in spot price. Some say this is the all time high in real terms, but they are wrong. The CPI is a lie. According to my calculations the real all time high for gold is closer to $4500 in today's dollars.
So far this inverse correlation with the stock market is in play for precious metals. In this bubble economy every asset has its day. Tech stocks, real estate, even crypto had their day and reached their limits for a while. When all those numbers are going down, the flight to safety becomes another bubble in safe haven assets. The market being forward looking, this new bubble was already under way but has accelerated now, and more of the high risk "risk off" plays are taking off.
Personally I'm going to let things run for the year as the market (possibly) continues to crash and then plan a proper exit when other assets start looking like a better deal. But if the normal stock market rebounds, well I probably won't make another post about that 🤣.
Either way, praise God for another day, and remember money is just a tool to be used in His service. It is a fun game to play, but not an end in and of itself.
At work to do what?
Where is the actual evil though? What evil am I doing? Obviously, you don't know, but let's just assume I'm the average citizen on the street, someone you know well who just doesn't happen to be christian. What evil do you suspect I'd be doing? Or is it solely not praying?
Then what? I am punished for eternity, even if otherwise I have made actions in keeping with god's teachings?
Oh I see. Are you implying I should assume you're the mythical sinless man? You seem to be making the argument that you've judged yourself and no shred of evil is present. That's quite remarkable.
God will have to open your eyes to reality for you to see that then. For now you're in a comfy left wing delusion that you're the source of all good in the world.
The Bible says you will be punished, and specifically Jesus does (who lefties claim to be like). But you want to keep jumping to the next conclusion. The point I stated first needs to sink in.
"So their influence is, by definition, leading you away from Jesus."
That's a fact. They are spiritually opposed to Jesus and thus all their media is designed to lead you astray. And you (and so many others, myself included) want to believe this media has no effect on your morals, or philosophy, or your direction in life away from Christ. In the height of human arrogance we think this, but it is proven over and over not to be the case.
Nope. I'm asking what evil you believe I may be doing.
Then perhaps you need to reread what I've written, because I've explicitly stated that is not my stance. As I said before, only god can judge, right?
I certainly don't live in that delusion. To think I'm the source of all good in the world would be quite arrogant and misguided
In what way is it proven?
Then I don't have to monitor your life and point out your sins for you. So it's not a reasonable question to ask, and my argument didn't rest on it. I identified the spiritual roots you have are bad, and if the root is bad there will be bad fruit from it.
Will head trauma not show up elsewhere in the body, mood or neurology? Of course it does, because that is down stream from your central nervous system. So do are bad fruit from an incorrect spiritual foundation.
In which case your argument that you were never influenced into evil doesn't hold water. You can't just look at the most horrendous of sins and say "see I didn't do those, I'm not evil". I'm not arguing you are pure evil.
It's not going to be in a bunch of double blind controlled trials. But there are many other forms of evidence. One would just be to ask the musicians or media creators themselves. Many are on record amazed at the influence their creations have over the public. In "They Sold Their Souls For Rock N Roll" many such instances are documented. I don't have them all off hand, so I apologize for my limited memory.
I can say from my personal life. My own parents who are very skeptical people, not religious, have quoted to me rock lyrics as if they were gospel. It's amazing how that gets imprinted into the psyche. And many people if they are honest with themselves will see examples first hand.
Just use common sense and think honestly about your own life experience. Did people not idolize these musicians and celebrities? Are we going to pretend role models don't influence people?
