Have you existed before this life? Reincarnation? Past life? Some other form of existence?
Or did you only come into existence during this life you have now?

I think we just dive into simulations to avoid eternal boredom. We are probably from an advanced species that knows all of the mysteries of the cosmos and going mad with boredom. So we jump into a simulation, with no memory of who we were so that we can finally feel wonder, fear, happiness, and amazement again.
There's no such thing as cosmos, but ya, the NDE books I've read make the afterlife sound incredibly advanced, loving, etc. I could never understand why anyone would leave.
