Lucifer aka leuk (light) pher (to bring) implies soul/sole/whole bringing each partial into being. The visible spectrum of light can only be perceived from within light.

contract for soul

A contract (one and one together) contradicts soul/sole (one and only).

treasures of earth

Treasure/tresor - "to store" aka keeping safe. Nature processes (inception towards death) each being (life)...it cannot be stored or kept safe. Holding onto the treasures of earth tempts one to ignore that natural value moves, hence earth processing the growth of each seed.
