If you are given cheaper gas as means to persuade you to support foreign wars, is that good?
Is there is a sincere action committed solely to the benefit of one people? No. Every thing in this era has ulterior motives. It is naïve to believe otherwise. You are here on this forum with faith in that.

a) Action (inception towards death) solely to the benefit of each ones reaction (life)...
b) Committing by consent to suggested pluralism (people) corrupts ones sincerity.
Every thing in this era has ulterior motives
Everything moves each thing apart from one another...ulterior/ulter - "on the other side" implies one reaching out to another, while ignoring to be set apart from one another.
There's free will of choice in-between ulterior (suggested) and motive (perceivable)...the former tempts one to hold onto; while the latter moves through one.
So, nothing GOOD ever happens? Is that your world view?
Good is a metric.
