In Christian Tradition, the definition of "hate" is willing malevolence towards another, which, of course, is different than the modern definition of "hate", which basically means intense dislike. Yes, I intensely dislike the Jews for subverting Christian society and persecuting Christians, which is why I want to get the word out that they are doing this. No, I don't will malevolence on them. In fact, my will is that they convert and become Catholic, so that they can go to Heaven, which is a form of love the Greek Bible calls "agape", which means willing the best for another for their sake. For the sake of the souls of the Jews, I will them to convert in order to go to Heaven, which is the greatest form of love I can possibly have for them, even though, yes, I intensely dislike them.
