You are basically right, but I adhere to a system where money is obsolete and profits have no any sense. :)

I just think that creation of "replicators" of whatever principle is inevitable at some level of technological progress, so the whole concept of money or currency will cease to exist.

This will not be ideal society too, but it would be much harder to manipulate people, who are completely independent and could make anything they need on demand, using classic greed-and-need-based methods.
