Why don't you pull out your trusty Pfizer script and explain it to us? I've heard all of the scripted "disinfo fighter" talking points about VAERS on Reddit, and they're all 100% bullshit. Give it your best shot, though.
Amyone can report anything into VAERS and there is no mechanism to vet or verify the input.
Therefore the data is useless.

VAERS is maintained by the FDA and the CDC. Reporting to VAERS is a long, involved process which typically takes over an hour to complete.

People aren't doing it for fun, and doctors often neglect to do it even when they're required to because it is so time-consuming. Underreporting is a very serious issue, so while the data may not be complete it fully serves the purpose of indicating valid safety concerns.
Not at all. The purpose of the system is only to detect patterns and generate safety signals when deleterious patterns are detected, and it does exactly that.
Expecting it to do anything else is retardation, which seems to be what your strawman argument is relying upon. I know the system and it's limitations.
