In addition to what others mention, if you are using an android device like a chromecast, Google tv or Android phone look at using a different app

Wouldn't that get bombed and destroyed by Google to oblivion as well?

Hasn't yet for me on my googletv (I know, I know)

I think because it's 3rd party and you have to sideload it, they have less visibility and control as compared to an app store app.
