I didn't mention the (Roman) "Catholic" Church. I mentioned the "catholic" (universal) Church. It is called the Greek equivalent, "kath holes", six times in Acts, and once "katholou", both meaning the "all-throughout" church. We the real believers had the "catholic" Church long before the Roman Catholics came along, and we should reclaim that.
