So when you say children, you mean terrorists. Anyway Hamas uses children as human shields, so among those he had to run over, I am sure some children were among them. Hamas uses children as human shields, that when the terrorists get bombed, they can start crying, like seen in this post. Using human shields is forbidden by the Geneva convention, so they are legit military targets, when terrorists hides among them.
