No link so I had to look up an article myself. The article I read not this one, was saying it's a loss of memory due to overstimulation. I don't know about anyone else here but I haven't been to a concert in over ten years and I still remember lots of specific details about it even though I was quite stimulated.
Personal Anecdote Dept: I got really worked up over Star Wars in 1977, because I was a huge nerd.
Then when my older brother took me to see it, I left the theater with absolutely no memory of what I'd just seen. All I remembered was a good afternoon with my brother.
Yeah I still remember tons of details about concerts I went to over a decade ago and I was drunk and stoned at the time lol.
I'm 35 and I remember going to see KISS with my dad when I was a little kid, twice. I even remember little details like... Skid Row opening and performing 25 To Life and Remember You at one concert.
