You are the psy-op. Viruses do exist. Hundreds of thousands of scientists around the world work with them. There are thousands of bio-labs around the world, and no these thousands of people are not all "faking it" wearing hazmat suits all day pretending to do stuff just to fool you.
The reality is that viruses exist, and that they have been weaponized in these labs during decades of research, and turned loose upon us. Then the perpetrators convinced a bunch of grade-A morons that the thing they made and released and that is currently KILLING said morons, never existed. Pretty neat trick huh?
