just gonna throw this out there since the flat earth debate is getting some attention again. Flat earths have had a working model of the solar system for over 400 years. Look up Tycho Braha, and they have had full maps just as long also. (media.scored.co)

As is you would know or be able to verify what the actual distance is. Joogle can tell you anything they want and you will just believe it even though it makes no sense.

The distance could be 2x and you would never know if the airplane is moving faster than you believe. Flights times can very up to 4 hours, that is enough to cover 2000 extra miles.

Are you afraid to state a number or are you not allowed to?

Which is it?

There is no "number", they are all estimations.

Then give an estimation.

If the Flat Earth map is accurate, it should be easy to measure.

Are you saying that there is no accurate map of the Flat Earth?

He didn't ask about flight times, he asked about the distance.

All distances are approximations as every map will have different distances.

If you collect all the sources and average the values you will get a close approximation.

My point is you have no gauge to judge if a given distance is correct. This is called high IQ skepticism and critical thinking.

Completely absent from the globe religion.

No way. You can measure anything with great precision in the real world. Why are you muddying the issue?

No you cannot. If you do not know the size of the object or the distance it is only an rough approximation.
