To tempt one (life) to follow all (inception towards death)...instead of resisting the temptation thereof. In other words...nature sets itself apart; which establishes temporary matter within ongoing motion aka a struggle to grow within loss; to rise during fall; to live during process of dying.

Another edit: Think of PAN as sound (Latin sanus) - "entire"...then the flute becomes the words suggested within perceivable sound. The trick of personification is that it distracts one from being per-sonos (by sound).
Why not yet another edit: If pan was shaped out of three P-A-N letters; then are there more letters? If pan implies all; then can there be more than all? That's how a suggested words can invert perceivable sound....if one consents to it.
