a) If one googles at another, one puts the goggle onto self.

b) "They Live" suggests the struggle against another to wear the glasses/spectacles/goggles...this tempts one to ignore that suggested implies the goggle one willingly wears within perceivable.

Ones real struggle is within self to take off what others suggest one to wear.
