instead needs a mediator

a) Mediation (suggestion) distracts from origin (perception).

b) Origin implies need; mediation implies want, hence a temptation to ignore need, which turns into a conflict of reason (want vs not want).

c) Origin (inception towards death) generates medium (life) aka motion generating matter.
