While Covid-19 is no worse than the flu, imagine an alternate world where it wasn't cooked up in a lab and released (on purpose or on accident, it doesn't matter for this thought experiment).
In this alternate world, another timeline maybe if you're into multiverses, Covid-19 doesn't exist. In this alternative world, also imagine there were no lockdowns and genome editing "vaccines". The disease just didn't exist. There is still human suffering from diseases, of course, but this alternate world does not have Covid-19, and thus zero suffering from it.
The better way to look at the human cost, therefore, is not to compare covid to the flu, but compare it to zero. Zero sickness from covid since it SHOULD NOT EXIST.
Year over year after entering human history, even as covid mutates to as harmless as the rest of the common cold coronaviruses, that is a massive level of human sickness, death, lost work, missed opportunities, and malaise that otherwise would not exist.
You responded exactly how a flat earth theory proponent would respond, except about terrain theory.
But are you gonna address the logic and reasoning or cop out with ad hominium?
Since when did I insult you? You are calling out a logical fallacy that I didn't make. Not very logical.
I thought it was obvious. So, you read everything I said, considered the point, but decided to judge my tone and comment on that instead.
That's ad hominium, you are dodging the points and subjecting me to your comparison. Whether I'm offended or not is besides the definition. I'm not, for the record, I just wish there were smarter people to talk to
No, an ad hominem attacks your character, or motives, or you as a person. I have done none of these things.
Try using correct definitions before you attack the intelligence of others. Oh, the irony here.
Also, please show me a response by you that you would consider a "model" comment, so I can learn how to write in a way that may be allowed to be considered intelligent enough for your prowess.
You asked nicely, but...no.
