Have experienced just about every denomination of nearly every religions' gathering in some form in countless places around the world. (Many against my interests but were obligations -- not some thing Christians do which is odd considering your wrath about devotion --> pretty stale)
Grew up with devote Methodists.
Went to Sunday School as a child.
The difference between you and ayh IS experience and ayh grew from it -- you never moved an inch.
I could post my list. It is eerily similar to yours in some aspects but I’ve come to a different conclusion than you. I’m genuinely interested in why. Based on your comment(s), my best guess is that the church poisoned you and your relationship with God. It did the same to me for a while (mostly because of Baptists), but you must separate God from man and recognize that the church has been corrupted beyond repair by man, not God. Ultimately, you only answer to God for yourself and those under your care, so the church is dead to me.
Ayh watched the behavior of my mother explicitly -- and her blind ignorance is bliss blasé attitude about some of the most complex unverifiable elements in religion.
Here is the contradiction of rearing a child while promoting religion. You instill in your child understanding the tangible -- "this is a xyz" "if some one does xyz then xyz" "no this won't happen bcz xyz" and countless real world boundaries so you can anticipate things (if it is a good parent).
At the same time, then that parent teaches you to ignore these proofs in the case of faith. You must suspend reality of what you were explicitly taught so as so survive -- so that you may enter another place you can not visit/see/feel/verify.
Ayh think engineers are probably the least religious in civilization bcz they inherently conduct themselves with tangible perspectives -- things must equate to values so as to function in a recognizable way.
Ayh then had the luxury of experiencing numerous permutations of as you say "people's relationships with God" and they all requires abstraction from norms.
The math never added up very early bcz ayh exist ultimately, on the basis of proof. Or at least strive for it -- which is why we come to these forums -- which is why it is extraordinary that so many people who come to forums to dispute the abstract then prescribe to their own abstract and do not see the irony.
I didn’t downvote you. Thanks for sharing your perspective.
Out of curiosity, what were/are some of the “complex, unverifiable elements in religion” that your mother believed? You don’t have to believe me but most of my (remaining adult) family members are all STEM-related leaders in their fields, including civil engineers, atmospheric scientists, mathematicians, etc. Additionally, those same leaders are reiki practitioners, astral projectors, nature healers, and psychics, and are involved in other less grounded “science-ish” fields. Generally, most of us are religious (but definitely not all “Christian”) and rely on faith-based religious ideas to grow spiritually. Being grounded in facts doesn’t mean you can’t be religious. Interestingly enough, the family members who were not religious have died off the past few years due to substance abuse, depression, faith in “experts”, etc. Faith grounds and guides our decisions. As I mentioned earlier, I believe the church today is not in line with God’s teachings and we no longer attend church. I view my family as the church and it is my responsibility to guide the younger members of the family in real science (STEM), God’s teachings, and where those two areas intertwine.
I can acknowledge that aspects of my religious beliefs are difficult to prove and are faith-based. That’s what religion and faith are, God even acknowledges this. We can’t be 100% grounded in the established sciences and stop there. We are on a conspiracies forum because we are seeking more that isn’t widely accepted, understood, proveable, etc. But there is scientific proof that God does indeed exist, Biblical event confirmation also exists. We are told lies from a very young age to deny God’s creation, to deny spiritual healing and growth. Why
do you think that is? Your enemies believe in spiritual warfare and dark forces, those are faith-based ideas. I think it’s wise to acknowledge their beliefs and to counteract them with truth, good will, and light. Also, fuck our enemies because Christ is King. Our grandparent’s religion and church were too simple-minded and kind to those who want to cause harm to good people.
From my perspective, the Bible and God cannot be disproven and, from my years on this Earth, there has to be more to life than just living, dying and that’s it.
Neat, so you were lied to your whole life and never grew out of the lies. Thanks for confirming. Bible says jews are damned for eternity. You know nothing.
Just curious -- which of these do you follow from the Bible, your doctrine for life -->
Slaves, submit yourselves to your masters with all respect, not only to the good and gentle but also to the cruel. (1 Peter 2:18)
No one who has been emasculated by crushing or cutting may enter the assembly of the Lord. (Deuteronomy 23:1)
Stone your daughter for losing virginity before marriage? (Deuteronomy 22:20–21)
Anyone who curses their father or mother is to be put to death. (Leviticus 20:9)
Have you killed any sorceresses lately? (Exodus 22:18)
Do not wear clothing woven of two kinds of material. (Leviticus 19:19)
Do you avoid lobster, crab, shrimp? (Leviticus 9:10)
Do you own slaves? (Ephesians 6:5)
When was your last donation? (Luke 3:11)
Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place. (Ephesians 5:4)
Can you humble your self to the fact you do not follow 75% of what the Bible says that was written over hundreds of years?
No.. bcz you are clung to this conditioning and will not surrender the fantasy that comforts you despite the reality being that no where does believing in God save you from any thing.

Jumping in here but...

No poisoning.

Just my 2c.

Thanks for proving that you’ve never actually read the Bible and that everything you claimed was a lie. Fuck off, jew.
You think the Old Testament is inapplicable to Christianity?
Lol
Cool, thanks for exposing yourself as a paid jewish shill. Your account is blown. No one will ever believe anything you say again.
All your criticisms sound like wishes…
