Owen is best in small doses. However his analysis of the footage is spot on:

Camera angle all wrong
Camera location all wrong
Looks like crappy models from Godzilla

Also, wasn't the footage produced in Laurel Canyon? Very odd:

The camera shake critique seemed a bit lacking. As even with conventional explosives, the earth shakes, and would shake even bunkers. Other then that, yes, the buildings do look like miniatures, as their is not enough random debris, and it all behaves in a uniform manner. Unlike actual explosions we have seen since.
